Andrew J. Dean II is an Atlanta-based actor with ties to the Atlanta and Los Angeles film markets.

 

With a long-held passion for acting & filmmaking, Andrew has extensive set experience, and has worked with a range of production companies from the very large (MTV’s Finding Carter) to ultra-low budgets (Casey Curren-Wilson’s Single Standard). Although Andrew portrays characters from all walks of life, he usually goes out for roles like the boy-next-door (Dylan Minnette in Thirteen Reasons Why and The Open House), to the mysterious antihero/villain (Chris Wood in The Vampire Diaries or Nathaniel Buzolic in The Originals and various other roles on The CW Network), to the friendly and relatable ‘good guy’ (Dylan O'Brien in The Maze Runner or Iain De Caestecker in Marvel Agents of SHIELD). 

 

In 2016, Andrew was accepted into the highly prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, and moved there to further develop his skills and build on his natural instincts. During Andrew's studies, he worked under the guidance of master instructors and industry mentors, refining every aspect of his performance to mature into a well-rounded and highly multifaceted actor with a determination to tell powerful & unforgettable stories. After graduating in May 2018 with an associate’s degree, Andrew is increasingly more excited to make his mark on the industry and work with innovative, passionate filmmakers that share a dedication to move audiences.
